నాగోయా (జపాన్): ఆసియా క్రీడలు (ఏషియన్ గేమ్స్-2026) వేదికగా భారత మహిళల కబడ్డీ జట్టు మరోసారి తమ ఖండాంతర ఆధిపత్యాన్ని నిరూపించుకుంది. జపాన్లోని నాగోయాలో జరిగిన హోరాహోరీ ఫైనల్ పోరులో డిఫెండింగ్ ఛాంపియన్ భారత్ 37-34 తేడాతో చిరకాల ప్రత్యర్థి ఇరాన్ను ఓడించి సంచలన విజయం సాధించింది. ఈ చారిత్రాత్మక విజయంతో భారత మహిళల కబడ్డీ జట్టు బంగారు పతకాన్ని (Gold Medal) కైవసం చేసుకుని, ఆసియా క్రీడల చరిత్రలో నాలుగోసారి పసిడి విజేతగా నిలిచి సరికొత్త అధ్యాయాన్ని లిఖించింది.

The Election Commission of India, New Delhi, after taking into consideration the crucial role played by EROs and AEROs in the preparation and revision of Electoral Rolls, has directed in the reference $1^{\text{st}}$ read above that the annual honorarium should be granted to the Electoral Registration Officers (ERO) @ Rs. 30,000/- and Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AERO) @ Rs. 25,000/-.
The Election Commission of India, New Delhi, vide reference $2^{\text{nd}}$ read above, considering the volume and nature of the work involved in Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise, has approved the grant of a one-time honorarium of Rs. 6,000/- to each BLO and BLO Supervisor engaged in the exercise, in addition to their annual remuneration.
Government after careful consideration of the matter hereby accepted the annual Honorarium to the EROs and AEROs, who are engaged in the preparation and revision of Electoral Rolls as below:
Electoral Registration Officers (ERO): Rs. 30,000/-
Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AERO): Rs. 25,000/-
Government also accepted the one-time Honorarium of Rs. 6,000/- to each BLO and BLO Supervisor, engaged in the exercise of Special Intensive Revision of Electoral Rolls, 2026, in addition to their annual remuneration.
The enhanced remuneration shall be paid with effect from 02.08.2026 to EROs and AEROs. Full remuneration shall be paid to the EROs and AEROs who have worked for the entire year. Proportionate remuneration shall be paid to the EROs and AEROs as per the period actually worked.

AP Armed Forces Flag Day 2026 Fund Contribution GO 189 Issued
The Government of Andhra Pradesh has issued G.O.Ms.No.189 dated 25-09-2026 revising the annual contribution to the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund. The revised amounts are to be deducted from the December 2026 salary, payable on 1 January 2027, and from the December salary every year thereafter, as directed in the order.
